1. General provisions

These Terms and Conditions apply to accommodation services and related additional services available through the Balaton Essence website. By using the website or submitting a booking, the Guest accepts these terms.

3. Scope of services

Balaton Essence offers premium apartment accommodation and additional services, including in particular breakfast delivery, SUP and beach equipment rental, as well as other experiences and services advertised on the website.

4. Booking process

5. Prices and payment

Prices displayed on the website are stated in Hungarian forints. For apartment bookings, an advance payment equal to 50% of the total accommodation fee must be paid online in order to finalise the booking. The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon arrival or by bank transfer based on prior agreement.

The advance payment applies only to apartment bookings. Payment terms for additional services are determined by the information displayed for the relevant service or by the individual confirmation.

6. Cancellation terms

For apartment bookings, the Guest may cancel the reservation free of charge at least 14 days before the arrival date. In this case, the advance payment already made will be refunded.

In case of cancellation within 14 days before arrival, the paid deposit is non-refundable.

7. Arrival and departure

Check-in: between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
Check-out: by 10:00 AM at the latest.

Different times are possible only by prior agreement.

The availability of additional services may vary by season. Detailed conditions for such services are provided on the relevant service page or in the booking confirmation.

10. Complaints

Complaints may be submitted by email to [email protected]. The Service Provider will investigate and respond to received inquiries within a reasonable time.

11. Data processing

The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, available on a separate page.

12. Final provisions

Matters not regulated in these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the applicable laws of Hungary. The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these terms, provided that amendments shall not adversely affect bookings already confirmed.
